Amy Butler does Rugs

by Claire on August 11, 2009

I’m in love. Seriously.

My sewing friends will all be familiar with the name of Amy Butler and her fabulous prints and patterns, but now she’s outdone herself. She’s gone and teamed up with Chandra to produce rugs.

I could have one of nearly all of these throughout my home. Just think how great they’d look on my Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors. Oh. my. gawd.

I could put this one – Coventry – in my front room, which is already painted that lighter shade of blue.

This one – Modern Love (aptly named) – would look wonderful in my family room with my moss green sofas.

This light blue one  – Georgia – would look perfect in my bedroom.

And I think Field Poppy here would be perfect in my sewing room, or my office, for some punch of pink. Every girly-girl like me needs pink in her home.

Go check out her Rug brochure for yourself and let me know what you think. Which one is your favorite?

Now to go find out how much they cost because I’m seriously going to have to save up for these.

Mary – I just keep looking at them and drooling. So many possibilities, so little money. :)

Chrysathemum for me, please! They are all gorgeous but I so want this one! Wow.

That’s a gorgeous one for sure, Belle.

Wow those are beautiful, and peaceful in a strange way because I don’t normally think of patterns as being peaceful. Maybe it’s the colors. But they’re so beautiful, definitely worth saving for.

Exactly, Wendy – peaceful. I do think it’s the colors. I can imagine that one rug the size I want is well over $1,000. So far out of my price range. By the time I have the money, my tastes may have changed.
