I was obsessed. I broke my budget and self-imposed prohibition of fabric stores because lord knows I have enough fabric to last a gazillion years. That $0.99 pattern sale at Hancock’s was just calling my name. All. morning. long. And today was the last day of the sale. Besides, all my old patterns – even uncut ones – are all too big. (Maybe I should post them and sell them?)
So… for less than the price of two Starbuck’s lattes, I got these patterns. And since the Seahawks totally suck today, I’m going to be spending my day in the sewing room and making a bowl of beef chili (ala Claire’s Test Kitchen, because I’m making up the recipe.)
In no particular order – although the DIY Style McCall’s is calling to me first. (Click the link to go to the manufacturer website for all the scoop.) I’m thinking of trying my blue reversible stretch fabric with this top, but long-sleeved. Thoughts a-swirlin’.

Great patterns! I hope you have a chance to get moving on them! Get rid of those old ones! Sell them or give them away. I very seldom fall prey to pattern sales but something came over me recently and I bought tons of Hilary Duff patterns (I’ll blame Trena from the Slapdash Sewist) , and about 5 doggie coat patterns. Hey, they were cheap and it made me feel good.
Hi Laura – I sure hope to have some time soon to get cracking on them! Doggie coat patterns? Do share!
Cute patterns! I have not been on a pattern binge in a long while but that ended this weeked-I went to Hancock’s and got a bunch of patterns. I go M5989 too-I plan to make the robe in micro fleece and some cute matching pjs too.
Hi Julie – I so need a robe, now I need to decide which one to start with. I like the ruffles, that’s for sure.
