Ha! Walking was my only option, Laura – it wasn’t from any sort of bravado or macho whateverness. I had this ancient midwife and a crotchety old doctor. Neither of them could have lifted me if my life depended on it. LOL.

What a nice tribute to your daughter!!! But I have to tell you, I certainly did not get up and walk after giving birth to my 8 lb 4 oz son. Ouch!

A big happy birthday going out to your daughter. She’s a lovely woman and no doubt she is a good mother to those grandkids of yours!

And, my oh my, you were a young mama, weren’t you! I’d say you managed very well over the years and am so glad you are such good friends with your daughters.
