My daughter sure knows how to throw a great kids’ party. Look at these cupcakes. She and a friend made these. The theme of the party was Elmo, and the party was for my youngest grandson’s 2nd birthday. Evan turned 2 yesterday – I can’t believe how fast those two years have flown.
I didn’t get very many pictures because my camera batteries died. Here’s a picture of Evan. That rocking chair there? Ya, looks a little girly, right? That’s cuz it was my rocking chair when I was 4 years old. I’ve held onto it all this time, and I have pictures of Elise, Cayden, and Evan in it, and in another year, I’ll have pictures of Laila sitting in it.

Why do I feel like it’s going to be no time before we’re looking at his graduation pictures! How is it possible that two years have gone by??
I know, Laura, crazy, huh? I look forward to the day that my grandkids want to go bike riding or running with me – but not too soon.
